OWC Innergize for Mac version 1.0.6 offers a firmware update for select OWC Atlas Pro CFexpress Type B memory cards allowing it to be upgraded from PCIe 3.0 to PCIe 4.0. Using Innergize’s Field Upgrade feature by selecting the OWC Atlas Pro CFexpress Type B memory card and clicking "Update firmware on device" will apply the latest firmware and upgrade the memory card from PCIe 3.0 to PCIe 4.0.
NOTE: Upgrading to PCIe 4.0 is available for OWC Atlas Pro CFexpress Type B memory cards that have a serial number where the second digit is the number '1', and the third digit is either the number '1' or '0' (example: 31043S1010001). OWC Atlas Pro CFexpress Type B memory cards that do not fit these parameters will not receive the upgrade from PCIe 3.0 to PCIe 4.0.
