The tests were straightforward functions performed in popular applications. All tests were performed in systems with 512MB of RAM, Mac OS X 10.2.8, stock video card, and a Sonnet Tempo HD boot drive. Application Test Suite* iMovie exported a QuickTime movie in each trial. iTunes converted a set of files to MP3. Photoshop executed a set of scripted filters and operations.
