Overview
The FWB-68300 PCI Express FireWire 800 PCI Express Card provides a reliable solution for PC computers to connect to FireWire800 and FireWire 400 peripherals. The improved throughput and increased bandwidth make it ideal for today’s high-end PCs and opens the door for the development of S800 RAID-based and SAN-based peripherals. It also provides better support of DV and MPEG data stream reception and transmission.
The FWB-68300 supports up to 63 FireWire 800 devices, including digital video camcorders and high-resolution color printers. With its complete hardware and OS support, the FWB-68300 provides a true high performance I/O solution for users who want to utilize high speed FireWire 400/800 consumer and professional devices.
