With the launch of ArKaos's new version of its well-known VJ software, ArKaos VJ 2.2, the creation of real-time and recorded visuals is now even simpler. ArKaos VJ 2.2 is the first real-time multimedia program, offering an innovative way to edit and manipulate a visual performance while it is running - something that has not been possible before.
Each of the effects has changeable parameters, allowing infinite customization of each one. The application supports full MIDI suites, both on-screen and off, as well as such music authoring applications as Cubase. It is equally at home on Macs and PCs and can be learned in minutes, with drag&drop and key-punch functionality at all levels.
Version 2.2 is using a powerful automatic beat-matching technology, and allows effects multi-layering and chaining as well as MIDI latch on/off for live performance. It's an ideal performing tool with customizable effects and flexible control with the double monitoring management.
ArKaos VJ and VMP are fully compatible with the last versions of Mac OS X and Windows XP.

VJ's technology is derived from the same ArKaos Engine that was developed by our team to run the visual effects at concerts given by - among others - Daft Punk, Front 242, M People, U2, David Bowie, Jean-Michel Jarre, Zucchero, The Scorpions, the French charity music festivals Les Enfoirés and Les Voix de l'Espoir, etc. ArKaos software is used directly by U2, Fatboy Slim, the Chemical Brothers and Roger Sanchez to create the visuals for their events as well.
The company has also created major corporate event presentations for such multinationals as Ford, McDonalds, ESPRIT, Apple, Roland, G-Shock, AXE, SEAT and many others.
