How do I tell what iPod I have? The iPod nano (3rd generation) is available in 4GB or 8GB capacity, and comes in 5 colorsand distinguished from previous iPod nano models by its wider screen, the hold switch location on the bottomand its ability to play video. You can also distinguish the iPod nano (3rd generation) by the last three digits of the serial number. The iPod nano (3rd generation) serial number's last three digits will be one of the following: YOP, YOR, YXR, YXT, YXV, YXX and this battery will work fine.
OWC has designed an upgrade program just for you, designed to get your iPod to us and back to you with the least downtime possible.
Upon submission of your order, OWC will first ship (by the shipping method you select and pay for) an empty box that is designed specifically for the iPod. A pre-paid, pre-addressed Federal Express* overnight return label covers getting your Mac to us for the next business day.
