The OWC Mercury Rack Pro Solution is a 4 bay SATA hard drive enclosure configured as 4 independent hard drives, up to a maximum capacity of 4.0TB (1TB per hard drive mechanism).

The OWC Mercury Rack Pro consists of 4 matched Enterprise Class SATA hard drives. 4 volumes will show up on your computer's desktop. The OWC Mercury Rack Pro uses 2 independent FireWire/USB bridge cards to control the 4 hard drives. You can even split the 2 hard drive bridge cards onto separate FireWire 800 (1394B) or USB 2.0 interfaces to maximize performance (Requires 2nd FireWire 800 (1394B) or USB 2.0 interface card).
