* to use Apple iDVD 5, iTunes and DiscBurner you must patch your OS using Christian Moller's freeware PatchBurn software.
- For Mac OS X 10.3 download PatchBurn 3 here. Installation is a simple one-click process. It is very likely that later revisions of Mac OS X will natively support this drive fully and make this step unnecessary.
- For Mac OS X 10.2.4-10.2.8 download PatchBurn 1.1 here. Upon installation, follow these instructions to create a device driver for the new drive.
