Features

• Hassle free drive installation and removal. With removable hard drive trays, installing or removing a drive would be absolutely hassle-free with the iTANK. Each drive tray is equipped with a locking mechanism to securely lock the drive into place and avoid accidental removals, helping to keep your data safe.
  
  
• Made with aluminum. With its sleek exterior and finish, the iTANK is built from aluminum with vent at the sides. This allows it to dissipate heat faster, keeping the enclosed drive cool.
  
  
• Multi-purpose connections. The iTANK is equipped with an eSATA port for fast performance in data transfer and a USB2.0 port for convenience when eSATA isn't available.
  
  
• Small footprint. The iTANK is compact in size for any desktop environment, never taking up too much space. When it's necessary to transfer large files (supports up to 1TB) from computer to computer, it's small enough to be made portable.

Applications

• JBOD. Just Bunch Of Disks. The iTANK Series focuses on JBOD applications. Although not equipped with data redundancy, the JBOD function, provides the flexibility of drive swapping, without the limitations. With the removable hard drive design, you can simply remove a drive and have it be used on another computer with ease.
  
  
• Data Mobility. If you work between home and the office and have gigabytes of data that need to be mobile, simply remove the hard drive and then insert it to another iTANK and you'll be up and running without missing a step.
  
  
• Help you to manage your digital libraries. You can easily manage all the digital snapshots, MP3s or movies that you have by saving them into different hard drives. With the iTANK you can archive all of your data with one simple enclosure but multiple drives thanks to the removable drive design.
  
  
• Multi-operating system application. If your system is capable of booting from an external device, you can utilize the iTANK as your boot drive, making it easy to switch to a different OS versions on different hard drives using the removable drive function.
