With a Sonnet Crescendo™/7200 G3 processor upgrade card, boost your computer's performance up to fourteen times as fast as the original system! The Crescendo/7200 G3 incorporates a G3 PowerPC™ processor and ultra high-speed Level 2 backside cache to achieve truly modern performance levels.
Mac OS 9 Compatibility
The Crescendo/7200 G3 processor upgrade card is compatible with your existing hardware. They seamlessly integrates with your software supporting from System 7.5.3 through Mac® OS 9.1 (as of January 2002).
Simple Installation
The Crescendo/7200 G3 installs in minutes with illustrated instructions. There are three easy steps:
Step 1. Run the Sonnet installer. There are no switches or jumpers to set or control panels to configure.
Step 2. Add memory to the processor card, either by moving the largest DIMMs from the motherboard, or by adding new DIMMs.* (You must leave a minimum of 16 or 32MB of memory on the motherboard, depending on the OS version.)
Step 3. Plug the Crescendo/7200 into the first PCI slot.
Uses same DIMMs as specified for 7200.
