Dashboard
A downside of integrating Dashboard into Mission Control is that you are no longer able to bring up Dashboard with a transparent background. If you are someone who likes to use the calculator Dashboard widget while still looking at a document, you will be greatly disappointed by this change. Thankfully Apple has provided a way to remove Dashboard from Mission Control and restore it back to its traditional look.
To restore Dashboard to its traditional look:
Open System Preferences by clicking on the Apple Menu and selecting System Preferences.
Click on the Mission Control settings section.
From within the Mission Control settings, uncheck the "Show Dashboard as a space" option.
