RAID 1 "Mirror" – Safe/Redundant Storage

Perfect For
Photographers and musicians, but also for anyone needing a safe, protected place to store their important data.
  • Store music, photos, videos
  • Anything that takes time to create
  • Anything that is difficult to replace

Protection

  • As the data moves onto the array, it is simultaneously copied to both drives at the same time giving you two copies.
  • In the event one of the drives fails, the other still holds the data intact and allows you to keep working.
    • Once the failed drive is replaced, the array will rebuild to give protection once again.
  • The usable capacity of the RAID 1 array is equal to the capacity of one drive.
