This is where you will have to desolder the leads
I found that it was easiest to break the existing capacitors off of the circuit board since they are a great heatsink and made the removal much more difficult. Once the caps were snapped off, I clamped a hemostat to the front side of the circuit board to apply pressure, and gently heated the solder lead. They pulled out of the board in no time.
