As of November 2, 2020, if you are using the NewerTech USB 3.0 to DVI Video Adapter or the NewerTech USB 3.0 to 4K DisplayPort Adapter, please follow the recommendations below.
macOS 10.13 High Sierra, macOS 10.12 Sierra, OS X 10.11 El Capitan: please download and install driver version 4.3.1 before using the device.
macOS 10.14 Mojave or 10.15 Catalina: please download and install driver version 5.2.5 before using the device. *
macOS 11.0 Big Sur (public beta): please download and install "DisplayLink Manager Graphics Connectivity" version 1.1 before using the device. Note this combination has not yet been tested by NewerTech. Information will be updated as the OS and related display drivers move from beta to official release status.
* If you are using a 2018 MacBook Pro, you will need to download version 4.3.1 instead and then follow the specific instructions found here.
