Our SoftRAID team has identified a scenario in macOS 10.15.4 that often results in a system hang or crash, when performing large file transfers between two or more volumes. This can happen both with SoftRAID and non-SoftRAID volumes. Please review the blog article below for more details. The article will be updated as new information becomes available.
Update: the Apple fix for this bug is included in macOS 10.15.5.
