Video Connections: Dual-Link DVI vs. HDMI

The video quality from both will be the same or similar for these two connection types when connecting your Mac to a TV.

The main difference between HDMI and DVI is that HDMI carries both the audio and the video signals. There would be no audio provided via DVI, however the picture quality should be similar.
