While working yesterday afternoon I noticed my iPhone screaming that the battery was low, so I plugged it in to one of the many sample Lightning cables we had received for a quick charge.<\/p>\n

Upon unplugging my iPhone, the connector simply broke into pieces. There was no drop, no rough pull, no abuse whatsoever\u2014yet the cable completely fell apart. As I am sure you can imagine, this would be a huge inconvenience for those of us that rely so heavily on our iDevices (that always seem to need a charge due to our busy lifestyles).<\/p>\n
