\"\"After first announcing its new Photos app for Mac OS X Yosemite way back at WWDC<\/a> in June of last year, the new app is finally beginning to make its debut.<\/p>\n

A developer seed version of Photos is being distributed to developers today, and The Verge has shared its first impressions<\/a> of the new app calling it \u201can improvement for most iPhoto users\u201d but adding users of Aperture\u2019s more advanced features may be disappointed.<\/p>\n

Apple announced in late June<\/a> of last year that it would no longer be developing its professional-grade photo editing app Aperture or consumer-grade app iPhoto, and it would instead replace them with Photos.<\/p>\n
