Perhaps overshadowed by Apple\u2019s introduction of the new 12\u201d Retina MacBook<\/a>, the 11\u201d and 13\u201d MacBook Air models were also given some attention at yesterday\u2019s Spring Forward event \u2013 but to much less fanfare.<\/p>\n

We were able to get our hands on the new 2015 MacBook Air models and performed a teardown on both and ran benchmarks on the 13″ model which featured a 4 lane PCIe SSD. (See our unboxing of the 2015 13″ MacBook Pro with Retina display here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
