The company today introduced a new smartphone trade-in program at Apple Stores in the U.S. and certain European countries where owners of selected smartphones running Android, BlackBerry or Windows Phone operating systems can trade them in for credit to be used toward purchasing a new iPhone.<\/p>\n

Apple will now take eligible recent handsets from Sony, Samsung, HTC, LG, Nokia, and BlackBerry in trade for credit in the Apple Store. The models include eight Sony models including the Xperia Z3, 22 models from Samsung including the Galaxy S5 and Note 4, four BlackBerry models including the Bold 9900, seven HTC models including the One M8, nine LG models including the Nexus 5, and five Nokia models including the Lumia 1520.<\/p>\n

This is a perfect way for those who have been eyeing an iPhone 6 but couldn’t find a way to responsibly get rid of their old Samsung handsets to make the move to Apple.
