Our second tip demonstrates how to set up an emergency medical ID card on your phone to make it easier for first responders to find out more about medical conditions you may have and who to contact.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Making an emergency 911 call from a locked iPhone<\/strong><br \/>\nImagine that you\u2019ve come upon a person collapsed on the street, holding an iPhone. Reaching for your own phone to dial 911, you discover that your battery is dead. Don\u2019t worry \u2014 as long as the victim\u2019s iPhone has a charge, you\u2019ll still be able to make an emergency call.<\/p>\n<p>From the lock screen, swipe right to unlock, then tap on the word \u201cEmergency\u201d that appears in the lower left corner of the screen.
