While many people were staying up late last night<\/a> to place their Apple Watch pre-orders, others were likely already looking forward to getting their hands on an Apple Watch II, or rather, an “Apple ][” watch.<\/p>\n

As Apple World Today<\/a> points out, Instructables.com<\/a>\u00a0has an awesomely retro Apple Watch build of its own. Instructables user\u00a0Aleator777<\/a>\u00a0claims that the watch even \u201cruns at a blistering (by early 1980’s standards) 72 MHz\u201d and also\u00a0keeps the time and date. Not too bad for a watch…<\/p>\n

OWC Jamie even came across his original Apple ][ wrench today as you can see below, but fortunately it\u2019s not necessary to work on this particular model.<\/p>\n
