\"Snake<\/a>History has a way of repeating itself. Cell phones went from large to tiny, and now phablets like the iPhone 6 Plus are dominating the market. Well, now the infamous Snake game that kept us amused on those little Nokia feature phones we carried around is back, this time as “Snake Rewind.”<\/a><\/p>\n

The app is expected to hit various App Stores on May 14th. Not only is Snake Rewind going to run on your iPhone, but versions will also exist for Android and Windows Phone as well. Snake Rewind is a joint invention of Taneli Armanto, the creator of the original Snake game, and Rumilus Design. The game has many\u00a0of the elements you might remember from the original, combined with new visual effects and sounds.<\/p>\n

Unlike the original game, you’ll now be able to “rewind the snake” to continue the game after crashing into your own tail. Your snake will also feast on special “fruit” providing powers and effects, and you can trade the fruit for special boosters and other items to make game play even more fun. You still have more than a week to wait for Snake Rewind, but the video below should\u00a0keep you going until it arrives on your iPhone.<\/p>\n
