\"iPodRefresh2015\"For the first time since 2012, Apple has brought a major refresh to its iPod touch lineup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new sixth-generation touch keeps the same form factor and 4-inch Retina display, but now features a 64-bit A8 chip and M8 coprocessor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing iSight camera and is available in capacities up to 128GB.<\/p>\n

The new iPod touch is available today and starts at $199 for the 16GB model with a 32GB model available for $249, a 64GB model for $299 and 128GB for $399.<\/p>\n

While the internal components are upgraded in the iPod touch, the external design is mostly unchanged. However, in addition to three new colors \u2013 gold, hot pink and dark blue \u2013 Apple has eliminated the loop accessory from the rear of the device.<\/p>\n

The iPod shuffle and iPod nano received color updates to match the new iPod touch lineup. The nano has been largely unchanged since 2012 and the shuffle has featured the same design since 2010.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
