OWC<\/a>\u00a0has announced that they will serve as the official technology partner of the Epilepsy Foundation and their \u201cTalk About It for Epilepsy\u201d Netathon, taking place Saturday, May 6, 2017.<\/p>\n

\u201cEpilepsy affects three million people in the U.S. and 65 million worldwide,\u201d<\/i> said Larry O\u2019Connor, founder and chief executive of OWC. \u201cWe at OWC are happy that our technology will help give the Epilepsy Foundation the opportunity to make this year\u2019s Netathon an unparalleled success, and are proud to support the organization and the ongoing work it does to make a critical difference in the lives of so many people.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

On May 6, the Epilepsy Foundation and actor\/philanthropist Greg Grunberg will host \u201cTalk About it for Epilepsy<\/a>\u201d, the Foundation\u2019s online, streaming event. The eight-hour Netathon will bring together celebrities, local Epilepsy Foundations, and epilepsy and seizure experts, talking about key epilepsy-related topics to spread awareness and raise funds for epilepsy. The event will take place in Los Angeles and will be available on CBS and Epilepsy Foundation digital properties, livestreamed on epilepsy.com, YouTube, TalkAboutIt.org<\/a>, Twitch.tv (an Amazon company), and CBSlocal.com\/epilepsy<\/a>.
