\"\"Other World Computing<\/a> announced today that company President Jen Soul\u00e9 has received a Silver Stevie Award for the category Female Executive of the Year \u2013 Consumer Products<\/i> \u2013 11 to 2,500 Employees<\/i> at the 14th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.<\/p>\n

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners were announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, Nov. 17. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the USA and several other countries were in attendance.<\/p>\n

Jen Soul\u00e9 broke ground as the first person to hold the title of President of OWC, and in the past year took on a much larger role in the daily running of the company, freeing up Founder\/CEO Larry O\u2019Connor to expand on strategizing the future direction of the organization. Soul\u00e9 played a key role creating channel marketing collaboration, developing new international partners, and communicating new corporate strategy and goals. Soul\u00e9 started as an OWC Sales Rep in 1997, moving on to manage the sales team before leading product development, and eventually becoming the company\u2019s first President in 2014<\/a>. Being an integral part of OWC\u2019s growth for 20 of the company\u2019s 29 years has given Soul\u00e9 a unique perspective on the value of each department and person at OWC. <\/p>\n

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run \u2013 worldwide. More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe judges were so impressed with the accomplishments of all of the Stevie Award-winning women and organizations. The 2017 Stevie Awards for Women in Business received a record number of nominations and had a record number of ceremony attendees,\u201d said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. \u201cWe congratulate all of this year\u2019s Grand, Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners for their achievements.\u201d<\/p>\n
