Since the application CleanMyMac showed that my iMac was \u201cclean,\u201d I decided to check things out manually.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can, too. A pop-up box dubbed \u201cGo to Folder\u201d will appear.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, type the following three commands respectively:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li>~\/Library\/LaunchAgents<\/li><li>\/Library\/LaunchAgents<\/li><li>\/Library\/LaunchDaemons<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/eshop.macsales.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Go-To-Folder-List.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-50439\" width=\"476\" height=\"173\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eshop.macsales.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Go-To-Folder-List.jpg 635w, https:\/\/eshop.macsales.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Go-To-Folder-List-284x103.jpg 284w, https:\/\/eshop.macsales.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Go-To-Folder-List-190x69.jpg 190w, https:\/\/eshop.macsales.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Go-To-Folder-List-284x103@2x.jpg 568w, https:\/\/eshop.macsales.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Go-To-Folder-List-190x69@2x.jpg 380w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 476px) 100vw, 476px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Click \u201cGo\u201d and check&nbsp;whether there is any weird looking plists or ones with with garbled\/random file name. If you find some, delete \u2018em and restart your Mac. Removing all plists with adobe in the name fixed my problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the way, a plist file is a settings file, also known as a &#8220;properties file,&#8221; used by macOS applications.
