We here at OWC, MacSales.com, and the Rocket Yard blog have long been committed to giving by supporting projects and organizations such as Dell Children’s Hospital<\/a>, Charity Water<\/a>, Toys for Tots<\/a>, and Head Start<\/a>. Just as our commitment to the environment<\/a> is an essential core value, so is giving to causes that help others, and promote a better world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today is “Giving Tuesday”\u2014a name assigned to the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the U.S.\u2014designated to be an international day of charitable giving. But giving is not something that should be limited to just one Tuesday a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Larry O’Connor, OWC Founder and CEO, shares:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity to reach out and help someone \u2013 be it with your time, a physical donation of food or gifts, or a monetary donation. And while ’tis the season’ to give now, perhaps it’s also a good time to make an early New Year’s resolution to continue giving year-round. There are plenty of charities, institutions, and causes out there, and I encourage you to find and support the right one that’s near and dear to your heart.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
