With many people still at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it\u2019s a great opportunity to either start a new podcast or take some simple steps to improve the quality of the audio you\u2019re putting out into the world. In this installment of Pro Audio, we\u2019ll cover some of the gear you\u2019ll need to create high-quality podcast audio on a budget, with additional recommendations if you\u2019re fortunate enough to have extra funds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know a lot of us are \u201cover\u201d this pandemic, so I\u2019m going to try to add a little zing and pep to brighten our collective days by using an exclamation point (for excitement!) for each section. :)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As someone who has remotely edited and mixed podcasts during the pandemic, I have heard a wide range of audio quality from many different sources. So with that in mind, I urge you not to underestimate the room you plan to record in, and the ceiling (pun intended) it may place on the quality of audio you can ultimately deliver in a final product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
