This is why I have it attached to an LG UltraFine 5K display. (Though I have encountered flickering problems <a href=\"https:\/\/eshop.macsales.com\/blog\/64335-lg-ultrafine-5k-flickering-screen\/\" title=\"Annoying LG UltraFine 5K Flickering Screen Problem Fix\">as I talk about here<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some laptops support more than one external display. On several attempts I received this message: <br \/><br \/><em>\u201cToo many redirects occurred trying to open \u2018https:\/\/support.com\/kb\/SP80o!local=en-us&amp;viewlocale=en_US.&#8217; This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.\u201d<\/em> <br \/><br \/>Go figure.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Moving on&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have an external display connected to either a laptop or desktop, you can choose either extended mode or mirror mode. Extended mode extends the onscreen image across the external display and the main Mac. Mirror mode \u201creflects\u201d the Mac\u2019s display on the external monitor. You can also change your primary display, which is where your desktop icons and app windows first appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Choose Apple menu \uf8ff &gt; System Preferences, then click Displays.<\/li><li>Click the Arrangement tab.<\/li><li>To change the position of a display, drag it to the desired position. A red border appears around the display as it&#8217;s moved.<\/li><li>To set a different display as the primary display, drag the menu bar to the other display.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To mirror your display:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>But perhaps you prefer video mirroring.
