But there&#8217;s one feature that can confuse people at times \u2013 the floating thumbnail. When you take a screenshot, one of two things happens; the preview either appears in the bottom right corner of your screen for a few seconds or doesn&#8217;t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>What&#8217;s the deal with that?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter if you hit <strong>shift-cmd-3<\/strong> to capture your entire screen or <strong>shift-cmd-4<\/strong> to drag and capture just a portion \u2013 there is a default behavior that you may want to change. Do you find the floating thumbnail annoying and want to stop it from appearing?
