You can use macOS Big Sur\u2019s <strong>Do Not Disturb<\/strong> feature. When you do, you don\u2019t see or hear notifications, but they\u2019re collected in <strong>Notification Center<\/strong> so that you can look at them later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can turn on \u201cDo Not Disturb\u201d temporarily or schedule it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-to-turn-on-do-not-disturb-temporarily\">To Turn on Do Not Disturb Temporarily<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In the menu bar on your Mac, click <strong>Control Center<\/strong>.\u00a0 (The menu bar runs along the top of the screen on your Mac. (Don\u2019t confuse the Finder with the Desktop. The Finder is the first thing that you see when your Mac finishes starting up. It opens automatically and stays open as you use other apps. It includes the Finder menu bar at the top of the screen and the\u00a0Desktop\u00a0below that.
