Choose it again to start sharing your screen again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"clear: both;\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-stop-screen-sharing\">Stop Screen Sharing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can stop screen sharing whenever you want. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click in the menu bar<\/li><li>Choose End Screen Sharing.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re viewing your friend\u2019s screen: Choose &#8220;Screen Sharing\u00a0> Quit Screen Sharing.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-block-sharing-requests\">Block Sharing Requests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re getting screen sharing requests from someone you don\u2019t wish to share your screen with, you can shut \u2018em down. When they send you an invitation, hold the pointer over the <strong>Decline<\/strong> button, click, then click <strong>Block User<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-troubleshooting-screen-sharing\">Troubleshooting Screen Sharing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re having problems implementing screen sharing, there are a couple of things you can try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Make sure the person you\u02bcre trying to share with is signed in to iCloud using the same Apple ID they used to sign in to Messages. (I\u2019m assuming you\u2019ve made sure that you\u2019re doing the same.)<\/li><li>If they can\u2019t sign in to iCloud and Messages using the same Apple ID, open your Contacts app, and make sure your contact card for the person includes both Apple IDs\u2014the one they use to sign in to iCloud, and the one they use in Messages.
