Both handy features are still around in macOS Big Sur. Let\u2019s look at how to use them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-use-finder-quick-actions\">How to use Finder Quick Actions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To see which Quick Actions are available, open a <strong>Finder<\/strong> window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"footnote\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> <em>Don\u2019t confuse the Finder with the Desktop. The Finder is the first thing that you see when your Mac finishes starting up. It opens automatically and stays open as you use other apps. It includes the Finder menu bar at the top of the screen and the&nbsp;Desktop&nbsp;below that. The Desktop is the space where you see file, folder, and application windows.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Under the File menu at the top left side of the menu bar, choose&nbsp; <strong>View &gt; Show Preview<\/strong>. This lets you turn the images into a single portable document.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Select a <strong>QuickTime<\/strong> compatible video or audio file, and Markup changes to <strong>Trim<\/strong>. This editing tool allows you to trim the video or audio file.<\/li><li>There\u2019s a <strong>More<\/strong> button beside the default Quick Actions. Choose it, pick <strong>Customize<\/strong>, and you&#8217;ll see the <strong>Extensions<\/strong> pane in System Preferences. Under the Tags section in the left navigation panel, <strong>right-click<\/strong> on the Tag name you want to edit.
