One way to help keep your desktop organized in macOS Monterey is to \u201ctile<\/a>\u201d your open windows to the left or right side of your screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To tile an open window in macOS Monterey:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Choose a window that you want to tile.<\/li>
  2. Click and hold onto the green icon in the top-left corner.<\/li>
  3. Choose to tile it to the left or right of the screen.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    (You can also choose to make the window full screen.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The window will snap into position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can tile more windows by doing the same. Once your windows are tiled, you can click on one to make it active and can proceed to work in it as normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
