(Don\u2019t confuse\u00a0 the Finder with the Desktop. The Finder is the first thing that you see when your Mac finishes starting up. It opens automatically and stays open as you U.S.e other apps. It includes the Finder menu bar at the top of the screen and the\u00a0Desktop\u00a0below that. The Desktop is the space where you see file, folder, and application windows.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-to-remove-tags-from-an-item\">To remove tags from an item:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b0&nbsp;Control-click the item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b0&nbsp;Click Tags. In List view and Cover Flow, move the pointer over the Tags column, then click it.
