In an interview with the Wall Street Journal<\/a>, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the company will be forced to raise prices on its products due to rising costs of memory and storage chips. While Cook’s announcement is not surprising given the severity of the global flash memory shortage fueled by AI infrastructure development, the news is nevertheless disappointing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
