Good price for just what I needed

I found the exact Mac Mini I was looking for to replace the same model I've been using for years for a media computer. The price and build was just as I hoped and it works just fine. I've bought Mac stuff from OWC in the past and it's always worked great for me. If you're looking for a used Mac this is the place to go. Could not be happier with this Mac mini. Visually, it is flawless, with only the smallest of scuffs underneath to give a hint it has been used. OWC's configuration was exactly as I asked for, and it arrived much faster than expected. The machine has been put to work in it's new life as a backup device, mirroring my email (was a victim of the Rackspace email disaster) and mirroring my Time Machine backups. New life for old Mac Mini

Purchase received promptly after purchase, in good packaging, and to me, in like-new condition. Everything worked properly, although slowly, due to the original hard drive. Set up an SSD as the boot drive, and replaced the installed 4 mb of memory with 16 mb (also from MacSales/OWC), so my new old Mac Mini is now part of my Apple system, with my iPhone 12 Pro and iPads, with only a very affordable price. Giving Old Things New Life

I purchased this late 2012 Mac Mini for the purpose of creating a legacy multimedia desktop environment. The price was right. After upgrading the HDD with repurposed SSD's and an OWC Data Doubler, I now have an additional Mac Intel desktop to have fun with and run VM's.Best of all, I saved my Belkin Thunderbolt 2 dock, Focusrite Saffire Pro 26 (Firewire 800) interface, and 2011 Thunderbolt display from the electronic waste heap for at least a couple more years.
This minimal investment has yielded great satisfaction as I didn't have to go through hundreds of units on eBay to find my desired specs and roll the dice on a seller I don't know. I have successfully completed many projects using OWC/Macsales products. Now, I feel confident that they are a good source for refurbished Macs as well. After opening the Mini (very clean, no damaged components, no missing screws) to perform the minor upgrades, I am confident that my money and time were well-spent. It is a snappy desktop with plenty of legacy i/o.
