The G-DRIVE® ev RaW SSD is the lightweight and rugged USB 3.0 solid-state drive for creative pros on the go. With transfer speeds almost 4x a traditional hard drive, the G-DRIVE ev RaW SSD is the perfect addition to your system. Unlike traditional hard disk drives, SSDs have no moving parts, resulting in a quiet, cool, highly rugged storage solution that also offers an increased system response.

The G-DRIVE ev RaW is designed to go with you everywhere. Fitting easily into your backpack, briefcase or purse, it's lightweight and when coupled with the bumper, can withstand a 2m1 drop. As part of the Evolution Series, it can be used as a standalone device, inside the ev All Terrain Case, or with the G-DOCK ev with Thunderbolt for ultra-fast transfers and editing.
Ready to Go, Easy to Use
The G-DRIVE ev RaW comes pre-formatted for Mac, which means you can simply plug it in and start using it right away! If you're a Windows user, you can easily reformat the drive for use with Windows. It also comes with two built in interfaces, USB 3.0 and SATA. The USB 3.0 interface, which is backwards compatible with USB 2.0, offers transfer speeds of up to 5Gb/s, allowing your G-DRIVE to perform at its maximum data transfer rate. Offering flexibility, the G-DRIVE's SATA connection is available for use with the G-Technology's G-DOCK ev.
