Each adapter features full-duplex capable FC ports, that automatically detect connection speed, and can each independently operate at 1 or 2Gb/s. All adapters also support new end-to-end error detection (CRC) for improved data integrity when reading or writing disks. The AN SI T10 committee developed and endorses this new protection standard.
