MaxConnect SAS/SATA Link is offered with MiniSAS to MiniSAS Cable for the PCI Express SAS/SATA Controller with MiniSAS Connector, The MaxConnect SAS/SATA Link will allow the user to connect 4-port/8 port PCI Express SAS/SATA Controller to be connected to the four internal Drive bays of the 2006-2008 Mac Pro System. (Model IDs: MacPro1,1 / MacPro2,1 / MacPro3,1).

MaxConnect SAS/SATA Link has micro form factor of just 0.45Hx1Wx2D inches, it is housed in completely covered machined thermo plastic micro case for maximum protection and reliability.

Early Mac Pro users can now install SAS/SATA Host Bus Adapter or RAID Controller in any PCI Express Expansion Slot of the Mac Pro System and can be configured as RAID 0,1, 5 , 6 or more for maxiumum speed and redundancy. Note: (RAID Level Support Dependent on the type of Controller).
