Rating: 5/5 Makes my old Mac fast again January 27, 2019 easy to install - at first the 2011 MacBook Pro did not recognize the 2x8 GBmemory upgrade (according to Apple's website my MacBook works only with a max. of 2x4GB). Solution: Shut down the Mac, Disconnect the AC power (not battery), then press the power on button for a minimum of 20 sec, it boots in the meantime. This deletes some internal settings. After that, the Mac recognized the 2x8 GB. Great!

Desktop file icons appeared instantaneously as soon as desktop appears - this has never happened before. I can feel the overall performance of my iMac is now speedier even with many applications opened at the same time.
