    Rating: 3/5 A little pricey for plastic February 28, 2014 The enclosure appears to be aluminum, but is actually painted plastic. Upper and lower sections are very hard to take apart to install the drive and care must be taken to avoid damaging the enclosure when putting it back together. It would also be nice if the power switch was on the front. It was a little hard for me to reach.

    Functionality seems good although I've only been testing for a few hours. Fast read/write without any vibration that I can hear and no fan noise.

    Overall I would recommend this product but with some reservations. This is far from the best product I have purchased from OWC and the plastic was a surprise.
