Rating: 5/5 It's like getting a new iMac March 23, 2016 My computer is a Late 2009 iMac11,1 model, witch had only 8GB of memory. It had become so sluggish over the years that I had contemplating an upgrade to a newer model. I had tried pretty much all the apps that promise you speed gains, to no avail. As soon as the computer rebooted after the upgrade, I could notice the difference. I can now run Photoshop and Lightroom CC (2015) with half a dozen other programs, including Parallels Desktop 9.0 for Mac, without any problem. Looking at my Activity monitor right now, I have 32GB of Physical Memory, 12.63GB of Memory Used, 14.09GB of Cache and 0 bytes of Swap Used; literally saying that I can switch from one program to the other without any noticeable lag and use any of them in an efficient manner. This upgrade has given my Mac a new life. Highly recommended for someone like me who has a minimum amount of memory preinstalled.

Rating: 4/5 It works February 21, 2016 Late 2009 27" iMac. Installed and the system recognized all 32GB. Apple says 16GB should be the max. But it's not so. A must have if you're using Adobe tools.
