A New World of Drive Performance and Data Safety.

Introducing TransWarp....a hybrid SSD/HDD array that gives you two drives in one.

TransWarp combines the SSDs and HDDs in a Flex into a single RAID 1+0 volume for increased protection and consistent read performance, and then uses the extra HDD capacity as a second RAID 5 volume for extra-large projects and files. Now you get the best of all worlds...rock-solid RAID 1+0 reliability plus additional storage to spare.

Flex utilizes this hybrid approach because HDD-based RAID volumes suffer decreasing read and write speed up to 70% as a volume gets full. With TransWarp using the SSDs for all reads, there is no slowdown potential. That makes TransWarp ideal for most video and photo editing applications that don't actually modify the original media but rather save a list of edit operations which then get applied to the media.
