Tapeless Workflow
Because the CalDigit VR2 supports both RAID 1 and JBOD, it's the perfect replacement for video tape. Use RAID 1 on set for an instant backup, then each drive module can be read individually with JBOD.
The CalDigit VR2 has two hot swappable drive modules, allowing for easy replacement and expansion. Extra Drive modules come in handy archive boxes (not included with VR2). Drive modules from the original CalDigit VR are fully compatible with the VR2, and VR2 drive modules are backwards compatible in existing CalDigit VRs.
