The eFUT4_R is an affordable, highly reliable external RAID (RAID5) system. A perfect storage system for small servers, creative pro workstations, photo, pre-press, AV projects, HD post-production or offices that need large storage/backup capacity with high speed and security.

The DirectAir™ system is designed to force air directly into hard drive keep the temperature as close to ambient as possible, often resulting in close to 100% heat dissipation. By keeping the hard drives cool, you gain increased stability, prolong your individual hard drive's life, and increase overall efficiency.

 Expandable.
The eFUT4_R is a perfect storage solution for no IT, growing, and expandable is expected.
If there is a need of more storage space, eFUT4_R can combine with up to three additional units to the total of sixteen (16) SATA drives. All can be connected to a four port eSATA controller card for high speed transfer or simply daisy chain via FiweWire. |
 Tool-less tray design.
With datOptic's patented drive connector, you can insert and remove hard drives just like a compact disc or floppy disk being used.
Exchange your hard drives on the fly without having to shut down and disassemble the enclosure. Simply pull the unlocked door open and the drive automatically ejects.
