With the T5_R5-eSUF, a 10TB (5x 2.0TB) protected, highly reliable, fast, hot-pluggable, massive storage in a quiet tower can be realized, and it is very easy to use. Simply plug it in via USB, FireWire or an eSATA host port, there is no driver or additonal software needed.

RAID set up and management can be accessed via Web GUI. This method allows both local and remote control.

Setup your unit to operate in RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, CLONE or JBOD. RAID 5 suggested for best speeds with reliable data protection:
RAID5 - As storage capacity requirements are getting larger, data storage without drive fault tolerance can lead to potential of loss data, down time and lost revenue. As the T5_R5-eSUF is RAID 5 capable, if a single hard drive fails a new HDD can be inserted and the built-in RAID 5 will be able to reconstruct the failed drive so your data stays intact.

Tool-less tray design.
With datOptic's paented drive connector, you can insert and remove hard drives just like a compact disc or floppy disk being used.
Exchange your hard drives on the fly without having to shut down and disassemble the enclosure. Simply pull the unlocked door open and the drive automatically ejects.

DirectAir™
 The DirectAir™ system is designed to force air directly into hard drive keep the temperature as close to ambient as possible, often resulting in close to 100% heat dissipation.
