The NewerTech 2-Piece pry toolkit is a pair of non-marring destructible nylon pry tools (a.k.a. "spudgers*) for opening iPods and other difficult-to-open but easy-to-scratch items.

Nylon Pry Tools are designed to be durable enough to pry open plastic items such as iPods, but will not last forever.

Because they are nylon and the edge wears from use, these tools have a limited lifetime and are not covered by any warranty.

Rating: 5/5 Perfect for the job June 16, 2019 You get one included in a Mac Mini RAM upgrade kit, and this is the one tool you keep on using for every other job after that.

I've been using mine for a couple of years, mostly to open notebook PCs. Broke one end off and the the other is a bit the worse for wear, but for a 99c part it has given better service than a lot of very expensive tools I've bought over the years. Highly recommended. Buy several. Give them to your techie friends as party favours.

Rating: 5/5 Much more durable than they look August 18, 2013 Got one of them in DIY kit for Mac Mini, and recently used it to open Magic Mouse. These little tools can handle a great amount of force applied to them. I was really surprised that they didn't break, and I'm going to get another 10 of them soon.
