I've been using this external blu-ray burner for years. Never had to instal drivers or mess with stock software. I can use the program I want to make blu-ray discs and burn them perfectly every time.

I have upgraded my old mac since I purchased this in 2012, but my blu-ray drive is still going strong attached to this enclosure connected via a FW800->Thunderbolt adapter. Works great, hasn't let me down yet. Highly recommended.
