Looks like a throwback to the 90's, but who cares? I plugged it into my iMac and it just works. Mostly used to rip music CD's to iTunes. I previously had gone through 2 Apple Superdrives.

Burns M-DISC Perfectly, Rock-solid Performance. I have several these working on different Mac's. Mac Pro Towers and Mac Minis. As many know, Apple is hostile to optical media. This has nothing do with the fact that Apple sells downloaded movies. With the advent of 1000 year lifetime M-DISC, optical media is roaring back. Very happy with this drive. Zero problems.
